Ah yes, once again we run into the paving contractor for the road to hell.
Judge tosses out Army captain's complaint questioning president's birth; Orly Taitz on notice
BY ALAN RIQUELMY - ariquelmy@ledger-enquirer.com
U.S. District Court Judge Clay Land today tossed out a complaint by an Army captain fighting deployment to Iraq by questioning the legitimacy of President Barack Obama.
Land also put attorney Orly Taitz, who represents Capt. Connie Rhodes and is a leader in the national “birther” movement, on notice by stating that she could face sanctions if she ever files a similar “frivolous” lawsuit in his court.
“(Rhodes) has presented no credible evidence and has made no reliable factual allegations to support her unsubstantiated, conclusory allegations and conjecture that President Obama is ineligible to serve as president of the United States,” Land states in his order. “Instead, she uses her complaint as a platform for spouting political rhetoric, such as her claims that the president is ‘an illegal usurper, an unlawful pretender, [and] an unqualified imposter.’”

"No matter your motives, Attila, you hurt the cause!"
ReplyDeleteBefore you join the mob tossing stones at Dr. Taitz, do a little research and read your own message to newbies: "This blog was started to give people a source of information they can trust. I almost never make the mistake of including scams, false rumors, or poorly researched items. I encourage readers to alert me if they spot an anomaly. It will be quickly corrected."
Citing biased news stories exposes your own bias. You expect me to trust anything said by the Columbus,GA Ledger-Enquirer? It's liberal McClatchy toilet paper, another Oborter mouthpiece.
The quotes in the article match the official court record. Even the NYT isn't wrong all the time. :-)
ReplyDeleteOrly's grandstanding style and lack of experience will either carry the day or end up embarrassing everyone in the anti-Obama movement.
So, there will be no post to correct inaccuracies.

This same information is in the Atlanta Journal Constitution also.
ReplyDeleteIONU, if you have evidence to prove that the Columbus,GA. Legder-Qnquirer has posted fraudulant information in that past I am sure you would have proven your accusation with some evidentiary support to back the claim that would throw the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer as a legitimate source for posting offical court records. Do you have the evidentiary support to back your accusation?
I have no doubts about the political bias of both media outlets you mentioned and media outlets in general.
ReplyDeleteHowever, no matter how biased they do not misrepresent court proceedings. Too risky. Citizen journalists have stopped the "you can fool all the people all the time" premise of the media.
