RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. (AP) — President Barack Obama has moved his golf game to a private California course owned by a billionaire.

Obama was playing Sunday at Porcupine Creek in Rancho Mirage. The owner is Oracle software company co-founder Larry Ellison.

Ellison ranks third on the latest Forbes list of the 400 richest Americans, with a net worth of $50 billion.

The White House says Obama’s golfing group includes three childhood friends from Hawaii who are regular golf companions when the president is on the West Coast.

Obama is spending the holiday weekend in Southern California without his wife and daughters.

He is scheduled to return to the White House on Monday evening.

Larry Ellison

Lawrence J. Ellison was a friend of Steve Jobs, and is the chairman & CTO for the Oracle Corporation.

Note: Steve Jobs was a friend of Lawrence J. Ellison, and married to Laurene Powell Jobs.

Laurene Powell Jobs was married to Steve Jobs, and a director at the New America Foundation.

Foundation to Promote Open Society was a funder for the New America Foundation, the Center for American Progress, and the Committee for Economic Development.

George Soros was the chairman for the Foundation to Promote Open Society, and a supporter for the Center for American Progress.

Noosheen Hashemi was a director at the New America Foundation, and the VP for the Oracle Corporation.

Melody C. Barnes was the EVP for the Center for American Progress, the domestic policy council, director for the Barack Obama administration, and is Barack Obama’s golf partner.

John D. Podesta is the founder for the Center for American Progress, a counselor for the Barack Obama administration, and Anthony T. Podesta’s brother.

Anthony T. Podesta is John D. Podesta’s brother, and the founder & chairman for the Podesta Group.

Podesta Group is the lobby firm for the Oracle Corporation.

George H. Conrades is a director at the Oracle Corporation, and a trustee at the Committee for Economic Development.

Donna S. Morea was a trustee at the Committee for Economic Development, and the EVP for the CGI Group Inc.

CGI Group Inc. was the Obamacare contractor that developed Healthcare.gov web site.

Obamacare is Barack Obama’s signature policy initiative.

The federal Obamacare insurance marketplace's many tech problems were inevitable given the brief time contractors had to build it—but they can be fixed fairly soon at a fraction of the troubled website's cost, the ex-president of software giant Oracle told CNBC.com.

"This is not an intractable problem," Infor CEO Charles Phillips said Tuesday about the government's HealthCare.gov site. "It takes time, but it is fixable ... It's going to take several months, most likely, not years."
