‘Not a Real Profession': ‘View’ Hosts Trash Nurses After
On-Air Apology
by John Nolte 19 Sep 2015
After a week of damage control and apologies for mocking a nurse, a
guest co-host on “The View” reports that none of it was sincere.
Behind-the-scenes “The View’s” mockery of the profession marched ever onward.
After co-hosts Michelle Collins and Joy(less) Behar aired a segment where they ridiculed a nurse who
participated in the Miss America contest, the embattled gabfest found itself
consumed by social media blowback, which eventually resulted in the loss of five major advertisers:
Johnson & Johnson, Eggland’s Best, Party City, Snuggle and McCormick.
Wednesday, in the hopes of containing the fallout, the women
offered an on-air apology. According to Nicole Arbour, a guest co-host, the
apology was far from sincere. She claims that after the apology, while the show
was not on the air, the ladies went right back to
trashing nurses, ‘Yeah, that’s not a real profession. They want to
be doctors.’
Appearing on Opie and Jim Norton, Arbour said: ‘Backstage, I
heard the girls being like, “Oh yeah, our nurse jokes didn’t go over well so we
have to apologize because they’re tweeting us too much.”
‘And I’m like, “you all are pu**ies.” See, I can sit in my
jokes and be like, yeah, I made them, I think it’s funny. Whatever. But they go
on there and make a fake apology. When the cameras weren’t rolling, Michelle
was like “Yeah, that’s not a real profession. They want to be doctors.”‘
The nasty, catty, snobby, elitism of “The View” is finally
coming home to roost.
So full of themselves, so desperate for “controversy” and
out-of-touch with the everyday woman, not only are the show’s ratings in the
dumpster, the co-hosts are now openly and gleefully insulting those who dare
not be elites — you know, like those dumb hicks who become nurses as opposed to
mouthy hens on a low-rated talk show.
Now that most mainstream comedians bow to Power and
political correctness, all that’s left is smut and mocking the Powerless.
If the television industry wasn’t propped up by the
monstrous fees cable customers are forced to pay through their
bundled television packages, many of these losers would never
survive. The ratings are too low to survive on advertising revenue alone. The
money to keep this elitist, leftwing trash propped up comes mostly from the
affirmative action of bundled cable and satellite.
Cut the cord America.
For America.
P.S. Yes, ABC is an over-the-air broadcast network but it
still receives fees from cable companies.
