Mark Edward Kelly is an American astronaut and engineer
as well as a highly decorated former officer of the U.S. Navy. He has received
numerous awards and medals for his distinguished service as a naval aviator.
The husband of former U.S. Representative Gabby Giffords, he is the author of
multiple books and an aerospace executive and consultant.
Kelly is a Democratic candidate in the 2020 United States
Senate special election in Arizona. He is running in the special election for
the Senate seat to which Republican Martha McSally was appointed. Flipping this
Senate seat will be crucial to taking back control of the Senate, so we would
