Barbara Walters, the intrepid interviewer, anchor and program host who led the way as the first woman to become a TV news superstar during a network career remarkable for its duration and variety, has died. She was 93.

Barbara Walters is a leader’s council member for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, a friend of Michael R. Bloomberg and was Arianna Huffington’s bridesmaid at her1987 wedding.

Daisy M. Soros is a leader’s council member for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and George Soros’s sister-in-law.

George Soros is Daisy M. Soros’s brother-in-law, Andrea Soros’s father and was the chairman for the Foundation to Promote Open Society.

Andrea Soros is George Soros’s daughter and a director at the Acumen Fund.
