George Soros reportedly spent more than $52 million in political spending, per Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings, according to Breitbart News.

The Washington Free Beacon reported on FEC filings from Soros’s political action committee (PAC), Democracy PAC:

“Soros ramped up his political spending this cycle through the Democracy PAC, which he created last year to pump large sums into the coffers of other left-wing groups.”

“New filings to the Federal Election Commission show the PAC doled out nearly $17 million last quarter, bringing its total cash disbursements this cycle to $48 million. Soros gave another $4 million directly to Democratic campaigns and committees without first depositing the money into his PAC.”

“The $52 million cash influx is more than double Soros’s previous high of $22 million, which came during the last presidential election.”

The Washington Free Beacon reported:“

The liberal billionaire is taking steps to obscure his election spending this cycle. In the past, he made donations to groups directly in his own name.”

“This cycle, he has operated primarily by transferring tens of millions from the Fund for Policy Reform, a $750 million nonprofit in his sprawling Open Society Foundation network, into Democracy PAC. The PAC then disburses it to other Democratic PACs and committees.”

“This arrangement allows Soros to keep his name from the top of donor lists. His $50 million in contributions makes him the largest donor of the 2020 cycle, though only $8 million is coming directly from him."
According to FEC filings, Soros’s political funding exceeded his spending in 2016 by more than $30.

More from Breitbart:

According to Open Secrets, Democracy PAC raised $51,635,003 in 2020, of which it has spent $48,091,590. Its beneficiaries are all left-wing and partisan Democrat PACs, including Senate Majority PAC, Priorities USA Action, Win Justice PAC, Illinois Justice & Public Safety PAC, Supermajority PAC, American Bridge 21st Century, and Pacronym.

Beyond political spending recorded by the FEC, Soros’s Open Society Foundations network claims to have spent over $15 billion over the past three decades. The U.S. is the organization’s primary target in terms of total dollars spent on any single country.

The Open Society Foundation’s 2020 budget was valued at over $1.2 billion, of which $261 million was spent targeting America. A majority of the $261 spent on the U.S. was said to fund “democratic practice, economic equity and justice,” “equality and antidiscrimination,” “justice reform and the rule of law,” and “cross-thematic” programs.

Former National Security Council official Fiona Hill told Congress on Thursday that Russians likely “played” Christopher Steele, the former British spy whose anti-Trump dossier the FBI used to conduct surveillance against the Trump campaign.

Appearing during the Trump impeachment hearings, Hill reportedly testified that she believed Steele’s investigation of President Donald Trump “was a rabbit hole.”

Hill’s testimony about Steele was just a small sample of what she said about the former British spy during a closed-door deposition Nov. 14.

In that interview, Hill told lawmakers she was “shocked” to learn Steele was the author of the dossier. She also said he was vulnerable to potential Russian disinformation because he was “constantly trying to drum up business” in the numerous meetings they had while she was a scholar at the Brookings Institution.

Hill said she last met Steele in 2016, and that she was not aware at the time he was investigating Trump.

She also explicitly stated that Russians might have fed Steele with disinformation in order to put a cloud over an eventual Trump presidency.

Fusion GPS, an opposition research firm working for the DNC and Clinton campaign, hired Steele in April 2016 to investigate Trump’s possible ties to Russia. He produced 17 memos that alleged a massive conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Kremlin operatives. The special counsel’s report undermined many of Steele’s major allegations. Attorney General William Barr testified May 1 that he was “concerned” that the dossier was Russian disinformation.

Hill was heavily critical of Steele, as well as the media, during her closed-door testimony.

“The point that actually hasn’t come out and, again, why I’ve been very cross in the media, is that the president was attacked as well, because the Russians sought to discredit him,” she said.

“There’s been a cloud over President Trump since the beginning of his presidency, and I think that’s exactly what the Russians intended,” she said later. (RELATED: Impeachment Witness Undercut Steele Dossier In Bombshell Testimony)

Though Hill’s deposition was positive for Trump, House Republicans largely avoided asking her about the same issues during the public hearing.

Hill was called to testify about her knowledge of Trump’s actions toward Ukraine.

Hill also revealed Thursday that she first saw that dossier Jan. 9, 2017, when Brookings Institution president Strobe Talbott showed it to her. BuzzFeed News published the report the next day.

Talbott has deep connections to the Clintons. He was Bill Clinton’s Oxford roommate in the 1960s, and served in his State Department in the 1990s. Talbott’s brother-in-law is Cody Shearer, a Clinton-linked political operative who worked on a Trump dossier of his own in 2016. Shearer’s report ended up in the hands of Steele, who shared it with his contacts at the FBI.

Hill has known Steele since the 2000s, when she served as a national intelligence analyst for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and he was an officer with MI6.

This lady recalls a presentation by Florida Congressman Syd Herlong in 1963 in which he presents a "Communist manifesto" for the takeover of the US. It is very eye-opening, since much of what he read from that document has already come to pass, and more is being done in that direction every day.

VIDEO: Pelosi, in Defending Kaepernick, Repeatedly Mispronounces His Name (Pelosi has All the Left Friends in All the Right Places)

VIDEO: Pelosi, in Defending Kaepernick, Repeatedly Mispronounces His Name

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi appeared on NBC’s “Meet the Press” this weekend, and in defending football player Colin Kaepernick’s movement to take a knee during the national anthem, she repeatedly proved she couldn’t even pronounce his name.
“Somebody, Colin Komper…  Komper… Kompernick doing what he did, he said this flag enables me to do this, this anthem enables me to do this, this is about freedom of expression,” stumbled Pelosi.
Needless to say, it was very clear the House minority leader didn’t fully know the name of the person she’s so adamantly defending. Watch the major gaffe above.

Colin Kaepernick
Colin Rand Kaepernick (/ˈkæpərnɪk/ KAP-ər-nik;[1] born November 3, 1987) is an American civil rights activist and American football quarterback who is a free agent. He played six seasons for the San Francisco 49ers in the National Football League (NFL). As a political activist, he is best known for kneeling during the national anthem in protest of police brutality and racial inequality in the United States.

Pelosi suffers brain freeze while defending NFL kneelers: ‘Kaep– Kaep– Kaepernick’
September 24, 2017
By Kyle Olson
Nancy Pelosi defended unemployed NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s “First Amendment” right to disrespect the American flag during the national anthem, even if she struggled to say his name.

During an appearance on “Meet The Press,” Pelosi sided with the former 49ers quarterback, and other players refusing to stand for our country.

The House Minority Leader chided President Trump for his comments, saying she believes he’s violating his promise to “bring people together.”

She didn’t criticize the players, who are offending so many Americans.

“Colin Kaep— Kaep— Kaepernick, uh, doing what he did, says this flag enables me to do this. This national anthem enables me to do this,” she said, initially struggling to speak.

“This is about freedom of expression,” Pelosi said.

She added Trump’s response is “unfortunate” and believes he was “ill advised” to criticize the anti-American players.

During an appearance for a U.S. Senate candidate in Alabama on Friday, President Trump blasted NFL players standing against America by taking a knee during the national anthem.

Campaigning for Luther Strange for the seat vacated by now-Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Trump waded into the controversy.

“We’re proud of our country. We respect our flag,” the president told the audience in Huntsville.

“Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag to say, ‘Get that son of a bitch off the field! He’s fired.’

“‘He’s fired!'” Trump shouted to a roaring audience.

The president’s slam comes one day after the stadium in San Francisco for a game between the 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams was less than half full.

“Time for kickoff,” LA Times reporter Lindsey Thiry tweeted.

In the second half, the seats were only about half full.

NFL Players Should Think Hard Before They Take A Knee
June 6, 2020 By Chris Morton
With the George Floyd protests and riots, feelings and emotions have inevitably diverged with statistical fact more than ever. The narrative is rammed down our throats at a rapid rate, while the statistical data is inevitably more complex and requires part of an afternoon to digest. In the age of high-octane social media, part of an afternoon is no longer on the table.

So as this battle over Floyd is fought — although in reality, it’s a unanimous agreement, not a battle at all — the sub-battles of the culture war ensue. One of these battles is our great national anthem.

The anthem has been a topic of contention since Colin Kaepernick took a knee. Fortunately, nothing too crazy followed. Some players took knees, many did not, and most of America moved on with life.

But now, as passions are hot, the left has decided to get some “woke contracts” signed ASAP. One of them directly asks players to declare if they too will kneel for the national anthem.

Drew Brees recently gave one of the most eloquent answers on this topic, declaring what our anthem means to him and honoring his family. His explanation was nonpartisan and from his heart, and it was going to help pave the way for his team and many others to follow suit with pride. Less than 24 hours later, the thought police attacked him, and he released an immediate apology. His “taking a knee contract” has now been signed, and you had better believe he will be kneeling from here on out.

Conservatives such as myself who reside in liberal cities understand the pressure leftist peers and colleagues apply so we will agree with them, like a leftist pick axe slowly chipping away at a rock of integrity. One exhausting battle after another, it can be so tempting to grant a couple wins to keep good relations. Often we are tempted to concede to preserve our own livelihoods.

You see conservatives like George W. Bush falling into the trap and contributing to the rhetorical nonsense of our “nation’s disturbing bigotry and exploitation.” This short-sighted strategy to gain unity and ease tension is really a long-term infliction of damage that only reinforces the false media narrative, which seems to have no end.

The last two weeks have exhausted us emotionally. It’s easy just to capitulate and say the words that make the leftists happy. Is the anthem the hill we really want to die on? Yes, it is.

Not only does kneeling for the anthem have its own symbolic importance for the heroes and defenders of our great nation, but another issue is at stake here: The kneeling is for police brutality-related deaths in the black community, which in 2019 resulted in exactly nine deaths of unarmed black men within a black population of 30 million.

No matter how you feel about that number, do you ever really think it will get lower or go away, given there are 375,000 interactions with police every year? Do you think with human error and the occasional outlying bad actor that number could ever possibly drop to zero?

Here’s a message to NFL players facing this decision: If you fear the media blowback for not declaring now that you’ll take a knee, just think how much press you will get hammered with if you declare you will take the knee and decide later you want your national anthem back. You will have signed a deal with the devil, and you will be on that knee the rest of your career. Think very hard about this decision.

Emotions are high, and kneeling now is very tempting. We all just want to be good people, and we are being told this is the way. Just know this: Once you kneel, you will never get up again. Do not give up on our national anthem.
