Outspoken liberal actress Bette Midler demanded that Fox News host Tucker Carlson and Newt Gingrich be thrown in jail.

She also demanded that Australian-born Rupert Murdoch have his American citizenship revoked.

76-year-old Midler, known for her role in Disney’s “Hocus Pocus,” said, “Tucker Carlson should be arrested and tried for sedition and fomenting insurrection.”

Murdoch is an owner of News Corporation, which is the parent company of Fox News. Murdoch created the Fox News Channel in 1996.

“Murdoch should have his citizenship revoked; the damage he continues to do to our democracy will soon become irreparable,” Midler claimed. “Newt Gingrich should be clapped in irons for getting him past the FCC.”

“Clapped in irons” is widely understood to mean “abruptly place in jail.” Take a look:

“Sadly, this list leaves off the most vicious, the ugliest, the most hate-filled owner of all, Rupert Murdoch, Tucker Carlson’s master, who has ruined political discourse all around the world,” Midler said.

She also shared an uncredited quote, “‘Own the press & 1/2 the work of. dictatorship is done.'”

Biden Invokes Defense Production Act to Increase Infant Formula Supply (Do you think maybe this infant formula shortage was planned? Let’s connect those dots!)

President Joe Biden took steps on Wednesday to address the shortage of infant formula in the United States, invoking the Defense Production Act to help manufacturers obtain the ingredients needed to ramp up supply, the White House said.

Biden also directed U.S. agencies to use Defense Department commercial aircraft to bring formula into the United States from overseas.

Baby formula aisles at U.S. supermarkets have been decimated since top U.S. manufacturer Abbott Laboratories in February recalled formulas after complaints of bacterial infections. On Monday, Abbott said it had reached an agreement with the U.S. health regulator to resume production of baby formula at its Michigan plant, a major step toward resolving the nationwide shortage.

In a letter to Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra and Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, Biden noted that the industry should be producing more formula in the coming weeks and months.

"Imports of baby formula will serve as a bridge to this ramped-up production. Therefore I am requesting you take all appropriate measures available to get additional safe formula into the country immediately," he said.

The White House said Biden was invoking the Defense Production Act to ensure manufacturers have the ingredients to make safe formula.

Social media posts are urging parents who face baby formula shortages to make it themselves. But pediatricians told the AFP wire service they do not advise patients to use homemade formula, warning it may lack vitamins and nutrients key to helping infants grow and thrive.

This week's Time magazine cover spotlights coronavirus front line workers, from cafeteria employees to paramedics

Time's latest issue features five covers, all honoring workers on the front line of the coronavirus pandemic. From cafeteria workers to paramedics, they share stories of how they do their jobs amidst a global crisis.

(CNN)The "essential workers" charged with keeping America afloat during the coronavirus pandemic risk their lives daily. Now, the health care workers, grocery store employees and everyday people we depend on are telling their own stories on the cover of Time magazine this week.

Time's latest edition has five different covers - each spotlighting a worker on the front lines of the coronavirus fight: paramedics, an anesthesiologist and a cafeteria employee.

Their stories and more are featured in print and online, told through photos or videos they took of themselves on the job or interviews with Time correspondents who spent shifts with them.

There are tales from a coroner in Albany, Georgia, a small town that's become a coronavirus hot spot. The wife of a bus driver who died protecting his passengers from the virus speaks about his illness. And an Asian-American doctor treating coronavirus patients struggles with being celebrated for his work and stereotyped for his ethnicity.

Inside an ER during the coronavirus outbreak

Media organizations have had to get creative to cover the coronavirus crisis while working remotely. Some reporters, including CNN's Lauren del Valle and Miguel Marquez and Time's Charlotte Alter, have been granted access inside hospitals to cover the crisis from the ground, though their time there is limited and they must follow strict safety precautions.

More often, news organizations are depending on front line workers to take them into their routines with self-shot videos and images. Several of them have already shared snapshots of their days, with the horrors and small victories, with CNN.

The Bill Gates connection behind the dire baby formula shortages in the US

Ansh Pandey by Ansh Pandey May 13, 2022in GeopoliticsReading Time: 3 mins read

https://tfiglobalnews.com/2022/05/13/the-bill-gates-connection-behind-the-dire-baby-formula-shortages-in-the-us/

The United States is currently suffering through a major crisis that is pushing the lives of infants in danger. Baby formula, an essential commodity required in the households with infants or toddlers is running short in the United States. This is happening apparently due to major supply-chain disruptions.

Parents across the U.S. are struggling to find the baby formula, driving to local stores and waiting for hours in search of nutrition for their babies. Most experts concerned with the matter say that this is the worst baby formula shortage the US has seen in decades.

The shortage is attributed to a contamination problem at an ‘Abbott Healthcare and Research’ factory that produces much of the Similac formula. The company had to voluntarily shut down the factory in February amidst the consumer complaints about the contaminated formula that was linked to the death of two infants.

Here’s the suspicious part though, this shortage could have been triggered by the pharma lobby and we have a piece of evidence explaining why is it possible.

Bill Gates and the Pharma Lobby

Bill gates and the Pharma lobby have deep roots in the production of factory-based essential commodities. The possibility of this duo being behind this notorious shortage cant be denied.

A new alternative to breast milk is arriving soon. In June 2020, BIOMILQ, a US-based start-up announced that it will be producing artificial human breast milk from cultured human mammary epithelial cells to be commercially available to consumers. The company claims the alternative to be environment friendly as well.

Surprisingly, the company received $3.5 million from a fund that was co-founded by big US Businessmen like Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Richard Branson, and Mark Zuckerberg. The fund was established to help prevent the ill effects of climate change.

BIOMILQ co-founder and cell biologist Leila Strickland stated in an interview that with this artificial breastmilk, parents, caretakers, and infants would be given more options for their early-stage nutrition. The product is slated to arrive in the next 3-5 Years.

Hence, it’s quite fishy that just before the arrival of the product, we’re getting to see these supply chain shortages and great uncertainties over restorations have erupted in the factory of the biggest shareholder of the baby food market.

Bill Gates – Shady Man with a Purpose

‘Genius’, ‘Billionaire’, and ‘Philanthropist’, Mr. Bill Gates has a history of being in the rounds of suspicion. There even have been conspiracy theories suggesting that Bill Gates is pushing his agenda in the shadow of the Coronavirus pandemic.

He has even been alleged with creating the virus, pushing the vaccine agenda, justifying lockdowns, and importantly, predicting the duration of a pandemic. None of the allegations are proven yet, but all this indeed is shady.

Furthermore, Bill Gates has been a staunch supporter of initiatives to tackle climate change. Whereas, dairy products such as baby food have a huge toll on climate change. Bill gates funded its alternative so he can push the product as an alternative to baby food.

Read More: Bill Gates – The most influential doctor and the richest farmer in America

Mr. Gates is certainly a man of suspicious character. He and other influential personalities in the Pharma Sector ‘may’ have triggered the shortage of baby food on purpose to make people realize the significance and need for an alternative.

THE KISSINGER REPORT:

December 10, 1974

https://www.reteccp.org/NWO/kissinger-report.pdf

May 1, 2013 (SNN) National Security Study Memorandum 200: Implications of Worldwide Population Growth for U.S. Security and Overseas Interests (NSSM200) was completed on December 10, 1974, by the United States National Security Council under the direction of Henry Kissinger. It was adopted as official U.S. policy by President Gerald Ford in November 1975. It was originally classified but was later declassified and obtained by researchers in the early 1990s. Click below to read the report: National Security Study Memorandum, NSSM 200, Implications of Worldwide Population Growth For U.S. Security and Overseas Interests (THE KISSINGER REPORT) December 10, 1974 Kissinger’s 1974 Plan for Food Control Genocide (Joseph Brewda) On Dec. 10, 1974, the U.S. National Security Council under Henry Kissinger completed a classified 200-page study, “National Security Study Memorandum 200: Implications of Worldwide Population Growth for U.S. Security and Overseas Interests.” The study falsely claimed that population growth in the socalled Lesser Developed Countries (LDCs) was a grave threat to U.S. national security. Adopted as official policy in November 1975 by President Gerald Ford, NSSM 200 outlined a covert plan to reduce population growth in those countries through birth control, and also, implicitly, war and famine. Brent Scowcroft, who had by then replaced Kissinger as national security adviser (the same post-Scowcroft was to hold in the Bush administration), was put in charge of implementing the plan. CIA Director George Bush was ordered to assist Scowcroft, as were the secretaries of state, treasury, defense, and agriculture. The bogus arguments that Kissinger advanced were not original. One of his major sources was the Royal Commission on Population, which King George VI had created in 1944 “to consider what measures should be taken in the national interest to influence the future trend of population.” The commission found that Britain was gravely threatened by population growth in its colonies, since “a populous country has decided advantages over a sparsely-populated one for industrial production.” The combined 1/3 effects of increasing population and industrialization in its colonies, it warned, “might be decisive in its effects on the prestige and influence of the West,” especially effecting “military strength and security.” NSSM 200 similarly concluded that the United States was threatened by population growth in the former colonial sector. It paid special attention to 13 “key countries” in which the United States had a “special political and strategic interest”: India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Turkey, Nigeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia. It claimed that population growth in those states was especially worrisome since it would quickly increase their relative political, economic, and military strength. For example, Nigeria: “Already the most populous country on the continent, with an estimated 55 million people in 1970, Nigeria’s population by the end of this century is projected to number 135 million. This suggests a growing political and strategic role for Nigeria, at least in Africa.” Or Brazil: “Brazil clearly dominated the continent demographically.” The study warned of a “growing power status for Brazil in Latin America and on the world scene over the next 25 years.” Food as a weapon There were several measures that Kissinger advocated to deal with this alleged threat, most prominently, birth control and related population-reduction programs. He also warned that “population growth rates are likely to increase appreciably before they begin to decline,” even if such measures were adopted. A second measure was curtailing food supplies to targetted states, in part to force compliance with birth control policies: “There is also some established precedent for taking account of family planning performance in appraisal of assistance requirements by AID [U.S. Agency for International Development] and consultative groups. Since population growth is a major determinant of increases in food demand, allocation of scarce PL 480 resources should take account of what steps a country is taking in population control as well as food production. In these sensitive relations, however, it is important in style as well as substance to avoid the appearance of coercion.” “Mandatory programs may be needed and we should be considering these possibilities now,” the document continued, adding, “Would food be considered an instrument of national power? … Is the U.S. prepared to accept food rationing to help people who can’t/won’t control their population growth?” Kissinger also predicted a return of famines that could make exclusive reliance on birth control programs unnecessary. “Rapid population growth and lagging food production in developing countries, together with the sharp deterioration in the global food situation in 1972 and 1973, have raised serious concerns about the ability of the world to feed itself adequately over the next quarter of a century and beyond,” he reported. 2/3 The cause of that coming food deficit was not natural, however, but was a result of western financial policy: “Capital investments for irrigation and infrastructure and the organization requirements for continuous improvements in agricultural yields may be beyond the financial and administrative capacity of many LDCs. For some of the areas under heaviest population pressure, there is little or no prospect for foreign exchange earnings to cover constantly increasingly imports of food.” “It is questionable,” Kissinger gloated, “whether aid donor countries will be prepared to provide the sort of massive food aid called for by the import projections on a long-term continuing basis.” Consequently, “large-scale famine of a kind not experienced for several decades—a kind the world thought had been permanently banished,” was foreseeable—famine, which has indeed come to pass. As a baby formula shortage worsens, Abbott says it can get some product back on store shelves in July

The company said it can restart production of its baby formulas at a plant in Michigan within two weeks if U.S. regulators allow it to do so.

Abbott Laboratories ABT, 1.84% said it can restart production of its baby formulas at a plant in Michigan within two weeks if U.S. regulators allow it to do so.

The company in February voluntarily recalled powder formulas that included Alimentum, EleCare, and Similac because of potential contamination with an environmental bacteria called Cronobacter sakazakii.

Two babies died and two more got sick after having been fed formula produced at the plant in Sturgis, Mich. However, Abbott said in a statement on Wednesday that “there is no evidence to link our formulas to these infant illnesses,” and the genetic sequencing of samples from two ill infants did not match each other or the Cronobacter strains detected in the facility.

The recall has set off a shortage of baby formula around the U.S. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is telling parents not to feed babies with the Similac, Alimentum, or EleCare powdered infant formulas. Some parents are rationing formula, watering it down, or trying to make their own, according to media reports.

“We know the recall has worsened an already existing industrywide infant formula shortage in the U.S. and we’ve been seeing and hearing the stress and despair of parents who are facing empty shelves,” the company said. “We deeply regret the situation.”

Abbott said it is addressing the Food and Drug Administration’s issues with the plant, and it is flying in Similac from Ireland. If the FDA OK’s the reopening of the Sturgis plant, Abbott’s plan would be to first start producing EleCare, Alimentum, and metabolic formulas, then Similac and other formulas.

The company estimated that it will take between six to eight weeks to get products back on store shelves once it restarts production.

The recall also cut into the company’s first-quarter financial performance. Revenue in its U.S. nutrition business tumbled 19% to $1.9 billion in the first three months of the year.

Abbott’s stock closed at $106.75 on Tuesday, one of its lowest points over the course of the last year. The stock is down 24.1% so far this year, while the broader S&P 500 SPX, 2.27% is down 16.0%.

BREAKING: Feds Open Investigation Into Elon Musk’s Twitter Purchase (Connecting the dots: Soros, Obama, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the Securities and Exchange Commission and John Kerry's family)

BREAKING: Feds Open Investigation Into Elon Musk’s Twitter Purchase

By David Rufful -May 12, 2022

It appears that liberal elites are doing everything possible to stop Elon Musk from purchasing Twitter and ensuring the social platform allows for free speech.

Musk even said that he would reverse Twitter’s permanent ban on President Donald Trump if the sale is finalized. This is certainly infuriating Democrats who have been outspoken about their support for increased online censorship.

In an alarming development, an investigation has been launched by the U.S. government into Elon Musk’s $44 billion purchase of Twitter. The purchase of Twitter is also being reviewed by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), reports say.

The Wall Street Journal reports that the Securities and Exchange Commission is “probing Mr. Musk’s tardy submission of a public form that investors must file when they buy more than 5% of a company’s shares.”

Musk initially purchase 9% of Twitter for roughly $3 billion, but his April 4th disclose was at least 10 days late. Experts say this hypothetically could have saved him more than $140 million because it’s possible that share prices would have increased if the public knew about his ownership of 5% of the company.

However, even if there is a lawsuit against Musk from the SEC, experts explain this would likely not stop him from taking over Twitter.

Twitter’s board of directors has unanimously approved for the company to be acquired by Musk and the SEC may lack the power to stop this from occurring.

Daniel Taylor of University of Pennsylvania said, “The case is easy. It’s straightforward. But whether they’re going to pick that battle with Elon is another question.”

Not too long ago, the liberal board of directors at Twitter shot down the possibility that Elon Musk could reverse the company ban on President Donald Trump.

When Musk only owned 9% of the company worth roughly $3 billion, Twitter responded to the issue by saying, “Policy decisions are not determined by the board or shareholders, and we have no plans to reverse any policy decisions.”

However, now that Twitter has accepted Musk’s $44 billion offer to purchase the company, Musk said, “I would reverse the permanent ban.”

“I don’t own Twitter yet,” he added. “So this is not like a thing that will definitely happen, because what if I don’t own Twitter? Permanent bans should be extremely rare and really reserved for accounts that are bots, or scam, spam accounts,” he continued. “I do think it was not correct to ban Donald Trump,” Musk said.

“I think that was a mistake, because it alienated a large part of the country and did not ultimately result in Donald Trump not having a voice,” Musk explained. You can watch the video here:

Twitter has been widely condemned for failing to allow for the basic right to free speech on its platform.

Left-wing “fact-checkers” are regularly accused of censoring the opinions and speech of Americans on Twitter and Facebook. Twitter recently suspended multiple accounts, including satire outlet Babylon Bee and Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

Once Musk gained some control, users immediately suggested that the company reinstate President Donald Trump’s account. Musk also argued that former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey agrees with him on this issue that Trump should not have been banned.

“Dorsey has yet to publicly respond to the claim,” Fox News noted.

Despite this possibility, Trump himself has said he will not return to Twitter. Trump has launched his own social platform called Truth Social. “I am not going on Twitter, I am going to stay on TRUTH,” Trump said. “I hope Elon buys Twitter because he’ll make improvements to it, and he is a good man, but I am going to be staying on TRUTH.”

Musk blasted the left-wing social media platform for failing to allow for free speech. Twitter notoriously banned President Donald Trump from using the platform back in 2020.

Musk asked his followers to take an informal poll: “Free speech is essential to a functioning democracy. Do you believe Twitter rigorously adheres to this principle? Is a new platform needed?” he asked. Take a look:

Some people suggest that Musk should simply buy Twitter:

An overwhelming number of Americans responded that Twitter is failing to adhere to the basic principle of free speech. Musk’s poll received responses from 2 million people. It showed that 70.4% of people believe think Twitter is doing a bad job.
