Ivanka Trump was
born in Manhattan, to the
American business magnate Donald Trump
and his first wife Ivana
(née Zelníčková), an athlete, model and socialite originally from Czechoslovakia. The
name Ivanka is a diminutive
form of Ivana (female version of Slavic given name Ivan). Ivanka's parents
divorced in 1991, when she was 10 years old. She has two brothers, Donald Jr. and Eric; a half
sister, Tiffany;
and a half brother, Barron.

Trump attended the Chapin School
in New York until age 15,[3] then
transferred to and graduated from Choate Rosemary
Hall in Wallingford, Connecticut.[4] Initially
