Dennis Rodman says he’s going to Russia to seek release of Brittney Griner (Connecting the Dots: Dennis Rodman, Russia & Soros Funded Think Tanks)
Former NBA star Dennis Rodman claims he’s going to Russia
sometime this week to seek the release of Brittney Griner. who was convicted of
drug possession and smuggling.
Griner received a
sentence of nine years in prison as the Biden administration has been
unsuccessful in negotiating her release.
Rodman believes
that he can have influence speaking with dictators as he’s heading out to
Russia to work out a deal.
“I got permission
to go to Russia to help that girl,” Rodman told NBC News. “I’m trying to go this
week.”
Rodman says that
he knows Russian President Vladimir Putin “too well.”
The State
Department has issued a travel advisory for Americans warning them not to
travel to Russia, which is why Rodman has sought “permission” even though he
doesn’t technically need permission from the U.S. to enter Russia.
He will need to
receive a visa from Moscow, but he doesn’t seem worried about it.
