NC Gov. McCrory Blasts Paypal Over Hypocrisy of Opposing “Bathroom Bill”

PayPal claimed it would no longer conduct business in North Carolina after the state passed a bill that would require men to use the men’s restrooms.

However, PayPal has no qualms about working in countries that routinely beat and imprison people for being gay.

Here’s NC Gov. Pat McCrory giving PayPal the what for…

North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory bashed the Internet payment company PayPal in an interview Thursday for scaling back its expansion in the Tar Heel State.

“The selective hypocrisy is outrageous by PayPal when they’re doing business and have headquarters in Singapore, where you can get arrested for chewing gum in public,” the Republican governor told Fox News host Megyn Kelly.

The first-term governor has taken heat from a number of corporations over the past few weeks after he signed into law a bill that requires individuals to use the gender-specific public restroom determined on his or her birth certificate.

PayPal is just one of 100 companies that has a problem with NC’s “bathroom bill.” Of course, all of them hypocrites.

The fact that this is even an issue tells you just how far America has fallen.

Things are bad.

Target takes stand on transgender bathroom controversy

Target said Tuesday that transgender customers at its stores are welcome to use the bathroom that matches their gender identity, the latest corporate reaction to a wave of legislation seen by critics as anti-LGBT.
"We welcome transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity," the retailer said. "Everyone deserves to feel like they belong."
