Democrat Lawmaker: Joe Biden Took Part in Hunter's Calls

Rep. Daniel Goldman, D-N.Y., who served as lead majority counsel in the first impeachment inquiry against Donald Trump, says President Joe Biden took part in phone calls involving Hunter Biden and foreign business partners.

Goldman spoke after whistleblower Devon Archer's appearance Monday before the House Oversight Committee in a closed-door session. Archer is Hunter Biden's former business partner.

"Democrat Rep. Dan Goldman says Hunter Biden did, in fact, frequently put his dad on speakerphone for his business partners — but they were only talking about the weather," RNC Research posted on X.

"Democrat Rep. Dan Goldman says Joe Biden spoke with Hunter's business partners, but they spoke about stuff like the weather not business deals," The Post Millennial posted on X.

Goldman conceded that Archer had testified that Joe Biden was placed on phone calls with Hunter Biden's associates perhaps twice a year over the 10 years that Archer was associated with the first son.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., a member of the House panel, took to social media after Archer's early testimony.

"Devon Archer, Hunter Biden's former best friend and business associate, asked Hunter why appointees from the Obama/Biden Admin arrested him," Greene posted on X.

"Hunter explained, 'It's democracy … every presidents family is held to a higher standard … it's the price of being the most powerful group of people in the world ... the unfairness to us allows for the greater good.'"

"Hunter continued, 'Every great family is persecuted prosecuted in the us — you are part of a great family — not a side show not deserted by them even in your darkest moments. Thats the way Bidens are different and you are a Biden. Its the price of power. and the people questioning you truly have none whereas you do through perseverance and poise.'

"Archer's arrest was just par for the course for Hunter," Greene posted. "Hunter didn't just peddle his family's influence to secure business deals that would otherwise be unattainable, he knew he and his associates would largely be shielded from the scales of justice because of his last name: Biden."

After the hearing, the White House tried to put a positive spin on the day's events and disclosures. Said Ian Sams, a spokesman for the White House Counsel's Office:

“It appears that the House Republicans’ own much-hyped witness today testified that he never heard of President Biden discussing business with his son or his son’s associates, or doing anything wrong. House Republicans keep promising bombshell evidence to support their ridiculous attacks against the President, but time after time, they keep failing to produce any. In fact, even their own witnesses appear to be debunking their allegations. Instead of continuing to waste time and resources on this evidence-free wild goose chase, House Republicans should drop these stunts and work with the President on the issues that actually impact Americans’ daily lives, like continuing to lower costs, create jobs, and strengthen health care.”

Matthew L. Schwartz, managing partner of Boies Schiller Flexner LLP and counsel to Archer, also had a statement:

“We are aware that all sides are claiming victory following Mr. Archer’s voluntary interview today. But all Devon Archer did was exactly what we said he would: show up and answer the questions put to him honestly and completely. Mr. Archer shared the truth with the Committee, and we will leave to them and others to decide what to do with it.”

Judge says Hunter Biden legal team apparently ‘misrepresented’ identity to court clerk

The judge overseeing Hunter Biden’s criminal case accused a member of his legal team of misrepresenting themselves to the clerk’s office, an unusual development that has raised the possibility of sanctions.

Biden’s lawyers insisted the debacle is a misunderstanding in court filings Tuesday night, saying they had not intentionally deceived anyone at the court.

At issue was an attempt by House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith (R-Mo.) to block Biden’s plea agreement ahead of a Wednesday hearing. Smith filed documents on Tuesday urging the judge to consider recent testimony to Congress by IRS whistleblowers, who alleged Biden received preferential treatment. 

Court filings indicate that Jessica Bengels, an administrative staff member at Latham & Watkins, a firm representing Biden, called a member of the court clerk’s office just before noon Tuesday seeking the documents’ removal from the public docket, saying they contained secret details including social security, taxpayer and grand jury information.

But U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika, who is overseeing Biden’s case, later suggested Bengels had pretended to call from the committee chairman’s law firm. Noreika ordered Biden’s attorneys to submit in writing why they shouldn’t be sanctioned.

“It appears that the caller misrepresented her identity and who she worked for in an attempt to improperly convince the Clerk’s Office to remove the amicus materials from the docket,” Noreika, a Trump appointee, wrote in the order.

Responding to Noreika’s order Tuesday night, a Biden attorney said there was no misrepresentation.

“The matter under consideration appears to stem from an unfortunate and unintentional miscommunication between a staff member at our firm and employees of the Court,” Matthew Salerno, the attorney, wrote in a letter to the judge.

Attached to the letter was a declaration from Bengels, written under penalty of perjury, in which Bengels said she first called a clerk named Julia to ask for guidance as to the procedures for restricting access to the private information. 

Upon being asked by the clerk, Bengels said she provided the name of her law firm during the call and indicated the documents were filed by attorney Theodore Kittila’s firm, which represents the Republican committee chairman.

Twelve minutes later, Bengels said she received a call back from another court employee who said they would be removing the material from the docket. Bengels said she was “completely confident” she did not pretend to call from the other firm, although the second employee did not ask about who Bengels worked for.

“I believe there may have been some confusion when Julia passed the information on to the other Court employee, resulting in a mistaken understanding that I had called from Mr. Kittila’s firm,” Bengels wrote.

In court filings, Kittila said he was “deeply concerned” by the development and attached an email from the clerk’s office indicating Bengels had pretended to be calling from the other firm. He also pushed back on the need to seal the documents in question, saying they were already public before they were submitted to the court.

“The exhibits that were filed have been public since June 22, 2023, following an approved vote of the House Ways and Means Committee. Moreover, the documents that were made public were redacted by both counsel for the minority and the majority members of the Ways and Means Committee,” Kittila wrote.

The president’s son has agreed to plead guilty to two counts of willful failure to pay taxes and avoid prosecution for possessing a gun while being an unlawful user of a controlled substance. The judge is set to preside over a plea hearing Wednesday at 10 a.m. ET.

The Blaze: Fox News Pushes Employee Donations to Far-Left Groups

The Blaze reports that Fox News is promoting far-left and even "satanic" charities through its employee donation portal.

Fox whistleblowers have shared with Blaze Media that the "Fox Giving" employee portal allows staff to make easy donations to the likes of the Satanic Temple, the Trevor Project, Planned Parenthood, the Southern Poverty Law Center, and other liberal charities.

These organizations and others not only can get big bucks from Fox employees through the portal, but Fox matches those donations up to $1,000.

Newsmax has reached out to Fox News for comment.

According to the Blaze, the Satanic Temple is an "atheistic leftist organization that has distributed satanic literature to children; publicly performed "unbaptisms"; sought to ensure that women can legally have their unborn children killed by way of their "religious abortion ritual" — among other blasphemies.

And the Trevor Project, according to the Blaze, "actively promotes gender ideology and woke propaganda. . . . and "holds fast to the notion that sex-change mutilations and cross-sex hormone therapies can be meaningful remedies for at-risk teens."

"Fox pretends to care about Christians, but some of the stuff they push internally suggests otherwise," one Fox staffer told Blaze. The website reports that conservative political organizations and religious charities are banned from the portal.

"Glory holes, trans surgeries for kids, and potential donations to Satan are a huge slap in the face to every Christian at the company, and we resent it," the Fox source said.

"It offends me personally that this company acts like they support Christians and yet they're literally willing to match $1,000 donation to the Satanic Temple."

While Fox will fully match donations to those liberal charities, the company's internal donation policy expressly "will not match or provide volunteering rewards" for, according to the report:

"Donations to organizations that discriminate on the basis of a personal characteristic or attribute, including, but not limited to, age, disability, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity characteristics or expression, marital status."

One Blaze source is a former Fox producer — Fox News recently terminated the remainder of Tucker Carlson's former staff officially last week, according to reports.

"It became clear certain things weren't going to be tolerated on air any more after Tucker was gone," the source told the Blaze. "We were told: Lay off Dylan Mulvaney.

Mulvaney was the trans comedian used by Bud Light as a national spokesperson – an event that sparked massive boycotts of the beer.

"Once I realized we couldn't say certain things on air any more, I started to dig more into the reality of the corporate views," the Fox staffer told the Blaze.

"It shows complete disregard and hatred for Fox's core audience, which is a huge part of the country.

"They watch believing Fox is speaking for them, when in reality it's a company participating in certain things that don't match their audience's values.

"[The disdain] is driven more by executives, lawyers, and HR than people realize," the source said.

The second Blaze source, still an employee that showed the workings of the "Fox Giving" app, called Fox's liberal-leaning management "disappointing" and a "goes to show there's definitely a mismatch in values."

"Our business model has turned into 'just tell the audience what they want to hear,'" the Fox staffer told the Blaze.

"It's about appeasing and assuaging the audience even though most people in the C-Suite disagree with their audience's values. It's manipulative."

The revelations are not unlike those brought forward last month by Tucker" biographer Chadwick Moore.

"I don't really see how they can" get the disenchanted viewers back, Moore told Newsmax's "Eric Bolling The Balance" last month.

"I think the whole network kind of outstayed its welcome," he added. "They've continually offended their core audience, and they seem to not care."

Fox appears to have distanced itself from its religious audience, fully embracing the LGBTQ+ agenda.

Last year Fox News did a month long series called "America Together: LGBTQ+ Pride Month."

One episode celebrated a California family who had their 5-year old daughter transition into into a "boy" named Ryland.

This past weekend former President Donald Trump spoke at the Turning Point Action Conference in West Palm Beach, Florida. His mention of Fox News drew widespread boos from the conservative audience.

"I heard you weren't too happy with this particular network, Fox," Trump said. " . . . I understand you exactly."

You’d think Sesame Street would be safe from this stuff. Sure—they dabbled in the inclusion game, but nothing that was obnoxious. Adding an autistic Muppet is fine of course. There was a family with two dads featured as well. It’s the changing times, folks. some might have an issue with it, but this is the nature of the business. Things took a wild turn, however, with Sesame Street’s Latin Heritage Month tweet, but you can guess where everyone rolled their eyes on this one.

“Latinx Heritage Month is here and we look forward to celebrating all month long! Together, let's take time to recognize and appreciate the Latinx culture and community that makes our neighborhoods so great. Happy #LatinxHeritageMonth,” it read.

Latinx!? That’s not a real word. White progressive social media staffer step away from the keyboard, please. No one says “Latinx.” No one says that. It’s not real talk. Not even Latinos say that; they hate it. I don’t know what happened, but last time I checked, Sesame Street residents spoke English. The replies were what you’d expect regarding this woke nonsense. 

Also, Sesame Street is on HBO. They don’t need to do this. NO ONE is going to cancel subscriptions over the absence of the term “Latinx” when it comes to Latin Heritage Month. There could be graphic nudity, strong language, and bloody violence on Sesame Street right now. It’s not cable. It’s HBO. They can do what they want. Yes, none of that is ever going to happen, but the fact that wokeness arrived on Sesame Street circles back to the crazy nut jobs graduating, getting jobs, and bringing this crap into the workplace.

Disney Heiress Arrested at Climate Protest Against Private Jets at Hamptons Airport

Abigail Disney, the granddaughter of Roy O. Disney and self-described Patriotic Millionaire, was arrested Friday as she joined a climate protest at an airport in the Hamptons.

Fox News reports the left-wing heiress added her voice alongside members of New York Communities for Change, Planet Over Profit, and Sunrise Movement NYC, on the East End of Long Island.

The protesters claimed their aim was to disrupt the “exclusive vacations of wealthy fossil fuel investors and polluters driving the climate crisis.” Disney made her own statement, saying:

As a person who has been privileged enough to use private jets, I know it’s hard to give up a luxury that is special. But I also know that the time has passed for spewing greenhouse gasses like this merely for our personal comfort.

The events of the past week alone, with Earth’s average temperature hitting an all time high, drought and fatal heat waves across the country, floods in Vermont and New York, and ocean temperatures around Florida well over 90 degrees, should remove all doubt once and for all. The wealthiest 1% uses as much greenhouse gas as the entire bottom 50%. It is time for real change and this is the most obvious place to start.

According to photos and videos of the incident, Disney and the other protesters formed a blockade at the main entrance of East Hampton Airport which serves private and charter flights, not commercial, Fox News reported.

It is situated in the Hamptons, a ritzy community in eastern Long Island that is home to a number of celebrities and affluent residents.

“These same rich people farting into the Hamptons on private jets are often the ones who make their money in industries that hugely accelerate the climate crisis,” Teddy Ogborn, an organizer of Planet Over Profit who was also arrested at the protest, reportedly said.

“As long as the 1% continues to needlessly poison our air and heat our earth, we will continue to escalate our actions against them.”

Abigail Disney is no stranger top public protests, including against The Walt Disney Company, for several years.

She co-directed “The American Dream and Other Fairy Tales” with Kathleen Hughes. The film criticizes the way Disney treats their theme park Cast Members. It was executive produced by Abigal’s brother Tim Disney and produced by their sister Susan Disney Lord, as Breitbart News reported.

“What I bring to this [film] is a memory of who my grandfather was in the 1960s and early 70s, what kind of CEO he was, how he greeted people, how he understood them as partners and not cogs in a machine,” Disney said about the documentary at the time.

Disney also recently urged the company to embrace more leftist social positions, like its opposition to Florida’s Parental Rights in Education law.

“We need corporations to step up on principle, regardless of what the resulting backlash might look like,” she wrote in an op-ed for The Washington Post.

“The only option for corporate leaders is to stand tall for authenticity, generosity, joy, and decency. These things are kryptonite for the right-wing agenda. Fortunately, they are also the heart and soul of the Disney brand.”
