Feinstein: Netanyahu Needs to ‘Contain Himself’
by Pam Key5 Apr 2015
Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Sen. Dianne
Feinstein (D-CA) said Israeli
Prime Minister
Benjamin Netanyahu needed to
“contain himself” and stop criticizing President Barack Obama’s proposed nuclear deal with Iran.
Feinstein said, “I don’t think it’s helpful for Israel to
come out and oppose this one opportunity to change a major dynamic, which is
downhill, a downhill dynamic in this part of the world.”
Specifically speaking about the prime minister, Feinstein
said, “Well, I think he’s said what he’s had to say, and to be candid with you,
this can back backfire on him. I wish that he would contain himself because he
has put out no real alternative. In his speech to the Congress, no real
alternative. Since then, no real alternative.”
