California Governor signs "Third Gender" law

California Governor signs "Third Gender" law

Gov. Jerry Brown just signed “the Gender Recognition Act,” a new law making California the first state to recognize a “third gender.” Residents who don’t identify as male or female will soon be allowed to check “non-binary” on driver’s license forms, birth certificates and other state documents. I'm assuming the birth certificates will be retroactive.

It’s kind of amazing that a state government that can’t recognize federal immigration laws or the need to build water reservoirs, or the importance of a secure border, or the difference between an “immigrant” and an “illegal alien,” or the need for hygiene to prevent deadly diseases, or the connection between insane laws and high taxes and all those U-Hauls leaving for Texas, or that the First Amendment applies to conservatives, too, has somehow managed to recognize a third gender. Their perceptive skills seem highly selective.

Or maybe this is all just part of the leftwing secessionist movement’s ongoing efforts to convince the rest of America to let California leave without an argument.

Let’s connect the dots:

For three decades, Jon has challenged outdated thinking across the U.S. political system, advocated fresh approaches to intractable problems, and consistently led an internal insurrection against the obsolete notions of his own Democratic Party.
