Bayer also introduced phenobarbital; prontosil, the first widely used antibiotic and the subject of the 1939 Nobel Prize in Medicine; the antibiotic Cipro (ciprofloxacin); and Yaz (drospirenone) birth control pills.

In 1925, Bayer was one of six chemical companies that merged to form IG Farben,^[5] the world's largest chemical and pharmaceutical company. The Allied Control Council seized IG Farben after World War II,^[a][6] because of its role in the Nazi war effort and involvement in the Holocaust, which included using slave labour from concentration camps and the purchase of humans for dangerous medical testing. It was split into its six constituent companies in 1951, then merged again into three: BASF, Bayer and Hoechst.^[7][8]

Bayer played a key role in the Wirtschaftswunder in post-war West Germany, quickly regaining its position as one of the world's largest chemical and pharmaceutical corporations. In 2006, the company acquired Schering, in 2014, it acquired Merck & Co.'s consumer business, with brands such as Claritin, Coppertone and Dr. Scholl's, and in 2018, it acquired Monsanto, a leading producer of genetically engineered crops, for $63 billion.^[9] Bayer CropScience develops genetically modified crops and pesticides.

Last week, Ben & Jerry’s ice cream company announced that it would no longer be selling its products in the “Occupied Palestinian Territory”. Behind the move is one woman who has a long history of being anti-Israel and even supporting anti-Semitism.

ANURADHA MITTAL: ANTI-JEWISH STATE

When Ben & Jerry’s board announced its intent to stop selling its products in the “Occupied Palestinian Territory”, it was quickly revealed that their initial intention was to boycott Israel entirely. The board of B&J was stopped from doing so by its parent company, Unilever, which has four factories and 2,000 employees in Israel. This divergence was possible because when co-founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield agreed to sell the business in 2000 to Unilever for $325 million, the purchase agreement allowed the company to maintain control over its “social mission.”

It should be noted that the company’s eponymous founders, Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, are both Jewish and though they are stridently left-wing, it seems clear that the impetus to target Israel came from B&J’s chairman of the board, Anuradha Mittal.

The Washington Free Beacon published an article revealing Mittal’s hatred of Israel in its entirety. After B&J’s announcement, it was discovered that Mittal had at least 107 anti-Israel tweets, one of which described the creation of Israel as a “catastrophe.” This echoes the language of anti-Israel terrorist organizations which commemorate the anniversary of the creation of Israel in 1948 as tne “Nakba” (catastrophe).

Last month, Mittal signed a petition to US Secretary of State Blinken “demanding that he halt weapons sales to Israel.”  

She has also expressed strong support for the Boycott Divestment Sanctions (BDS) movement and defended Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D., Minn.) claim that pro-Israel members of Congress have an “allegiance” to a foreign government. 

“Omar’s remarks were denounced as anti-Semitic by members of her own party and prompted the House to pass a resolution against hate and intolerance,” the Beacon noted.

“Criticism of AIPAC is not anti-semitic & calling for Congress not to have allegiances to foreign countries (Israel) is not anti-semitic,” Mittal wrote in March 2019, “but targeting the first black Muslim member of Congress with false accusations of antisemitism IS Islamophobic!”

OAKLAND INSTITUTE: PRO-BDS, ANTI-ISRAEL, ANTI-SEMITIC

Mittal founded the Oakland Institute in 2004. The institute clearly reflects her concept that rejects the existence of any Jewish state in the region and not just post-1967 borders. The institute’s website refers to “ 70 years of occupation and displacement” while marking “100 years since the Balfour Declaration, which laid the foundation for a Jewish homeland in Palestine.” The website also makes the astounding statement that the Palestinian movement has been a “nonviolent struggle.”

This blindness to extreme violence targeting Jewish citizens of Israel was reflected in an article published by the Oakland Institute during the Israel-Lebanon war in 2006 calling for support of Hezbollah: 

“You do not have to agree with all of Hezbollah’s ideas to support their resistance to Israel. Condemning “both sides” in the Middle East is just like condemning “both sides” in the American Civil War. During the Civil War, with all its complications, one side fought for slavery and the other fought for emancipation. Today in the Middle East, one side fights to rob and pillage, the other seeks self-determination and dignity.”

The article compares Israel to an oppressive pro-slavery government while entirely overlooking an Iranian-backed terrorist organization with hundreds of thousands of missiles dedicated to a genocidal effort targeting the Jews in Israel. The article claims that any objection to Hezbollah is based in “Islamophobia”. 

The Oakland Institute also published a series of reports in 2017 accusing Israel of humanitarian crimes. The series included a lengthy interview with Bassem Tamimi who has promoted claims that Israel arrests Palestinian children in order to “steal their organs.”

B & J is deeply connected to the Oakland Institute and in 2017, the Ben and Jerry’s Foundation donated $80,000 to the organization. NGO Monitor documented that under Mittal’s leadership, the institute has partnered with “radical NGOs that support BDS, including BADIL, ICAHD, Youth Against Settlements, and Hebron Rehabilitation Committee,” all of which advocate for BDS.

BADIL has been accused of having ties to terrorist organizations and promoting blatant anti-Semitism.

Bill Gates, along with George Soros via a consortium, will buy a UK-based COVID testing company. It’s nothing more than a money grab. For Gates, it’s incredibly transparent.

Mologic produces rapid-COVID testing kits using deep-nostril technology. Gates and Soros explained they made the investment for at least $41 million to help “expand access to affordable state-of-the-art medical technology” to communities that need it most.

But is this anything more than a money grab? The product is meant to address people with asymptomatic COVID. But this announcement was made when political talking heads and left-wing media outlets push the threat of the asymptomatic spread due to the vaccine-hesitant.

False vaccine prophet: Bill Gates

Democrats and their media enablers are blaming conservatives for vaccine hesitancy.

They argue that the current surge of new cases — many of which come from blue states — are due to vaccine hesitancy amongst Trump supporters. It’s a weak and bad faith argument. College students have been reluctant to get the vaccine, and the Black community represents a high group expressing vaccine hesitancy. Neither demographics are known for overwhelming Trump support. The Microsoft founder has been a big believer in COVID vaccines, though not big enough to push for its access to impoverished nations. Gates, a media-appointed global health expert with no medical background, previously argued that vaccine formulas shouldn’t be shared. He only relented and walked back his position after significant pushback. But his initial position stood in the way of more widespread production.

It’s instructive to view Gates’ new purchase in the context of trying to keep vaccine formulas under lock and key.

The asymptomatic shakedown

The new supposed threat with the more contagious Delta variant is asymptomatic spread. Selfish, evil Trump supporters are not getting vaccinated, they catch COVID without knowing it, and they’re spreading it to grandma. Somehow, despite being vaccinated, grandma could end up dying as a consequence.

We hear more and more over asymptomatic spread, and it’s a great reason to test yourself more often, isn’t it? There are even more vaccinated people getting COVID. After all, look at the 2021 Texas state champion super spreaders: the Texas Democrats who fled their state to save democracy (by stalling it).

Gates is positioned to make a fortune off the invisible threat of asymptomatic COVID. And Trump supporters are the perfect villains to profit off of. Since you don’t know if you’re sick with COVID and the unvaccinated Trump supporters are carriers, the prevailing talking point will inevitably be to test yourself frequently to be safe.

While putting considerable funds into vaccine access, Gates simultaneously pushed to halt the sharing of vaccine formulas.

It was, in the words of WIRED contributor Mohit Mookin, an attempt to “launder his reputation by tried and true philanthropic giving.” As Mookin notes, Gates has repeatedly attempted to “bolster companies’ ability to exclude others from producing lifesaving drugs, including allowing the Gates Foundation itself to acquire substantial intellectual property. This continues through the Covid-19 pandemic.”

Philanthropic stunts

While his foundation undoubtedly offers funds for noble causes, Gates isn’t merely doing it for his love of humankind. It appears he stands to profit from this. Perhaps, for example, the Gates Foundation’s financial stake in CureVac, which is currently wrapping up mRNA-based COVID vaccine clinical trials, explains why Gates doesn’t want to share vaccine formulations.

No matter how “affordable” the Mologic COVID self-tests become, we will all still face pressure to self-test frequently. Many will give in to unnecessary tests, and those costs add up. And just like the companies that pivoted to offer fashionable masks during the height of the pandemic, Gates will be there with Soros to make a fortune off the push to test.
