We repeat.

A military besiegement and ground incursion in Rafah, Gaza, poses a catastrophic risk to the children sheltering there.

Many of the children cramped in Rafah have been displaced multiple times and have lost homes, parents and loved ones. Thousands are injured, malnourished, traumatized or living with disabilities.

They must be protected, along with the few remaining basic services and infrastructure they need to survive.

For over seven months, we’ve witnessed this tragedy unfolding, resulting in thousands of children killed or injured.

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said the United Nations’s International Court of Justice (ICJ) "can go to hell" after the body ordered Israel to halt its military operations in southern Gaza. 

"As far as I’m concerned, the ICJ can go to hell," he wrote Friday on X. "It is long past time to stand up to these so-called international justice organizations associated with the UN."

"The ICJ’s ruling that Israel should stop operations that are necessary to destroy four battalions of Hamas killers and terrorists – who use Palestinians as human shields – is ridiculous," he added. "This will and should be ignored by Israel."

Friday's ruling came as Israel continues military operations in Rafah, the last stronghold for Hamas, which has accused Israeli forces of killing civilians and children. The ICJ does not have the power to enforce the ruling. 

In 2022, Russia ignored the ICJ's order that it stop its invasion of Ukraine. Graham also noted that the International Criminal Court (ICC) at The Hauge previously threatened action against U.S. forces for operations in Afghanistan. 

"Under the theory espoused by the ICC to go after Israel, America would be a target. Sanctions need to be strong because if we fail to act to defend our friends in Israel, America will be next," he wrote.

Earlier in the week, Graham criticized the ICC over its effort to seek arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, as well as Hamas leaders, alleging war crimes and crimes against humanity.

On Friday, Graham said he was in talks with Senate and House members of both parties to potentially sanction the ICC for the warrants against Netanyahu and Gallant.

Actor Robert De Niro, one of former President Donald Trump's most outspoken celebrity critics, appeared in a campaign ad approved by President Joe Biden in which De Niro claims Trump "snapped" after leaving the White House and warns that the former president wants to "terminate the Constitution."

The 30-second spot, which started airing Friday on broadcast markets and digital platforms in battleground states, and on national cable, is part of the Biden campaign's paid media for May, Deadline reported.

In the ad, De Niro says that "from midnight tweets, to drinking bleach, to tear-gassing citizens, and staging a photo op, we knew Trump was out of control when he was president."

Then, the actor says Trump lost the 2020 election "and snapped" while "desperately trying to hold on to power."

Now, says De Niro, Trump is running again and "threatening to be a dictator [and] to terminate the Constitution."

"Trump wants revenge," the actor said, while the ad shows Trump using the word "bloodbath" in a speech shows. "He'll stop at nothing to get it."

Trump accused Biden and Democrats of taking the word "bloodbath" out of context after the March speech, saying he was speaking out about the potential losses in the automobile manufacturing industry, not political violence.

De Niro's ad comes after his profanity-laced comments in March on Bill Maher's HBO show and after the actor had to be muted when he cursed about Trump while appearing earlier this month on "The View."
