Group of Thirty
The Group of Thirty, often abbreviated to G30, is an international body of leading financiers and academics which aims to deepen understanding of economic and financial issues and to examine consequences of decisions made in the public and private sectors related to these issues. Topical areas within the interest of the group include:

Paul A. Volcker is the chairman emeritus for the Group of Thirty, a director at the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, and was a lifetime trustee at the Aspen Institute (think tank).

Foundation to Promote Open Society was a funder for the Aspen Institute (think tank), the New America Foundation, the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace (think tank), the Committee for Economic Development, the International Rescue Committee, the Brookings Institution (think tank), and the Center for American Progress.
George Soros is the chairman for the Foundation to Promote Open Society, a board member for the International Crisis Group, and was a supporter for the Center for American Progress.
Ernesto Zedillo was a board member for the International Crisis Group, and is a member of the Group of Thirty.
Roger W. Ferguson Jr. was a director at the New America Foundation, a trustee at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace (think tank), is the co-chairman for the Committee for Economic Development, and a member of the Group of Thirty.
Timothy F. Geithner was an overseer at the International Rescue Committee, the treasury secretary for the Barack Obama administration, and a member of the Group of Thirty.
Mario Draghi is an honorary trustee at the Brookings Institution (think tank), and a member of the Group of Thirty.
Lawrence H. Summers was a trustee at the Brookings Institution (think tank), the National Economic Council chairman for the Barack Obama administration, is a distinguished fellow at the Center for American Progress, a member of the Group of Thirty, and a 2008 Bilderberg conference participant (think tank).
