"Are the American people being "played?" It has been said that a picture is worth a thousand words. So perhaps, the graph below will put the charade that is transpiring in Washington in perspective.

   
The top bar represents our nation’s projected deficit for fiscal year 2011, which is anticipated to be 1.65 TRILLION dollars. The second bar represents the paltry 61 billion dollars that Republicans want to cut. And the bottom bar (if you can even see it) represents the laughable 10 billion dollars that Democrats are proposing to cut."
