Press Conference Statement by Jerry Collette 4/21/12
Jerry Collette, developer of the Do It Yourself Ballot Challenge Kit spoke about his kit. Collette said he has learned quite a bit as the plaintiff in Collette v. Obama, in Pasco County, Florida, Circuit Court, the first case to use the kit, and several upgrades have been made in the complaint since he filed his case.
As in other eligibility cases, Obama and the Democrats are doing everything they can to avoid having his case be decided on the real issues. Obama and his agents have avoided being served. Collette found another way to serve him by serving the people in charge of Obama for America offices. They are agents of Obama.
The members of the State Executive Committee of the Florida Democratic Party are challenging the validity of service on them and making other procedural challenges. Collette said that the judge can deal with all this in two different ways. If he wants to sweep this case under the rug with over 100 previous ballot challenge cases and go down in obscurity, the defendants have given him enough reasons that he could do that. On the other hand, he could recognize the importance of this case, ignore the defendants’ frivolous moves to scuttle this case, and allow it to proceed. If he were to do the latter, he would go down in history as the first judge to honestly review the evidence and legal precedent on this important constitutional matter.
Collette encouraged others to file their own ballot challenges in their counties. He also reminded people with friends outside of Florida that his kit can easily be modified for all 50 states. As Larry Klayman said, if we file enough cases, we will find that one honest judge who can save America.
