Personality Types
Theory and Application
We
will be exploring three theories for personality types research.
· Birth Order
personality type indicators:
o
This
personality research looks at the influences on personality caused by the order
of birth between siblings. For instance, only child personality
types are significantly different from youngest child personality
types. Barry Nichols, Mensa member and owner of Paradise Jewelry will be
sharing his research on this subject.
· Human Resources
personality types:
o
This
personality research is primarily used for business employment and
placement. Tim Taylor , CEO of
Network FOB will share his research on this type of personality type indicator
· Keirsey Temperament
Sorter and the Myers Briggs Personality Type Indicator:
o
This
personality type research is mostly used by psychotherapists. Sam Sewell , Director of Best Self USA, a counseling
clinic will present his research on these kinds of personality type indicators.

Each man attending will have the opportunity to discover his type
by filling out a diagnostic inventory if he wishes to do so.
Those who RSVP will be sent forms via email to complete and return before the meeting.
Please
be prepared to suggest topics for future meetings.

Refreshments & snacks
are not provided; participants are encouraged to bring enough to

There is no fee to
attend. Contributions to the Southwest Florida MENSA
scholarship fund for gifted youth are encouraged.
