While Arizona’s new law to control illegal aliens is getting plenty of attention it’s not the only signal that we have had enough and America’s adults are retaking control of our state governments.

In South Carolina both Houses have overridden their governor’s veto of a law allowing police to forego warrants to search those on parole or probation.

A new Oklahoma law prohibits the state from “sharing information about hate crimes with federal authorities if the state of Oklahoma did not recognize the crime as a hate crime by its own statutes.”

Minnesota Republicans introduced an amendment requiring a 2/3 majority vote in the state legislature to approve of any federal law before it can be applied to Minnesotans.

A Republican New York State Senator has introduced a bill that would poll the people of the Empire State as to whether they want to see New York separate into two states.

South Dakota’s House has passed a resolution “urging” public schools to teach global warming as a “scientific theory rather than a proven fact..” It went on to urge the inclusion of astrological factors as well.

A Utah State Senator wants his State to honor native son John Moses Browning, founder of the Browning Arms Company on the same day as Martin Luther King’s birthday is celebrated.

In just April alone: Louisiana has passed a law preventing insurance companies doing business in the state from paying for most abortions; Nebraska has passed a law against abortions beyond the 20th week of a pregnancy; and Virginia is considering an amendment that withholds “state money for abortions, including cases in which the health of the mother is at risk or the child might be born with a deformity.”

Additionally these states are looking at Arizona like anti illegal control alien laws:

In Oklahoma a new law makes it more difficult for illegal aliens to get on welfare or even obtain an ID card. It also lets police check the citizenship status of anyone they suspect of being in Oklahoma illegally, and makes the willful hiring or even sheltering of an illegal alien a felony. Missouri South Carolina and Texas are considering similar laws.

While Oklahoma’s law is currently tied up in court, “the will” is there and Oklahoma has shown it will keep going until it finds “the way” to start implementing its law.
