NYPD Hashtag Gambit Goes Horribly Wrong

Given the success some commerical enterprises have had with using Twitter hashtags as promotional gimicks, the New York City Police Department decided to give it a shot.

What they got amounted to a shock in return.

A number of  Twitter users co-opted the #MyNYPD hashtag and began posting photos of alleged police brutality.

Jarrett’s great uncle, a director at the American Friends of Bilderberg (think tank), a member of the Iraq Study Group, and a 2008 Bilderberg conference participant (think tank).
Valerie B. Jarrett is Vernon E. Jordan Jr’s great niece, the senior adviser for the Barack Obama administration, and a member of the Commercial Club of Chicago.

Jared L. Cohon is a member of the Homeland Security Advisory Council, a trustee at the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, and was the president of the Carnegie Mellon University.
Teresa Heinz Kerry is a trustee at the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, a life trustee at the Carnegie Mellon University, an honorary trustee at the Brookings Institution (think tank), and married to John F. Kerry.
